Our marketing department operates more like an internal agency than a traditional home-services team. We manage paid media, creative production, websites, automation, and brand development across a growing multi-location franchise network.
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who can help build and optimize websites, landing pages, and digital experiences that drive qualified leads and support our marketing campaigns.
Position Summary
Honest Abe Roofing Franchise is looking for a high-level developer who can help us build, improve, and maintain the systems that power our franchise organization. This role combines internal software development with customer-facing website work, giving the right person the opportunity to make a real impact across both technology and business operations.
We are flexible on work arrangement and are open to remote, hybrid, or onsite candidates. We are looking for someone who can own projects, solve problems, move quickly, and bring both technical skill and practical business thinking to the table.
What You’ll Do
- Help build and improve our internal CRM, field service, and operational software
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain web applications with a strong focus on stability, performance, and long-term supportability
- Work on a mix of legacy systems, modernization efforts, and new development projects
- Support front-end website design and implementation needs across brand and franchise web properties
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to turn business needs into practical technical solutions
- Participate in prototyping, planning, and technical estimation for new projects
- Write clear documentation for code, systems, and processes
- Help improve usability, workflows, and overall UI/UX where needed
- Work across both back-end and front-end needs depending on project priorities
What We’re Looking For
- Strong professional software development experience in a web application environment
- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience building web applications in Microsoft .NET
- Experience working with relational databases, ideally SQL Server
- Ability to work on both internal tools and public-facing websites
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical teammates
- Someone who is motivated, dependable, and comfortable owning work from idea through implementation
Nice to Have
- Experience with UI/UX improvements and translating business goals into intuitive interfaces
- Experience modernizing older systems without disrupting day-to-day operations
- Experience supporting multi-location or franchise businesses
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and connected business systems
- Comfort balancing speed, quality, and practical business needs

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
